Astor Piazzolla composed his first solo guitar work "Cinco Piezas" (Five pieces) in 1980 after hearing William Waltons five Bagatelles played by the Argentinean guitarist Roberto Aussel. This second piece "Romantico", is composed in the style of Francisco Caros 40s Romantic tango; in the end there are a few rasgueados. I am playing Maestro Piazzolla recreated the traditional tango by combining elements of modern concert music, pop and jazz with original genre.
