Brian Aglira "Thank You All For Coming"

Find out more about Brian Aglira at: www.myspace.com/brianaglir a from the video of a show at The World Café LIVE (Main Stage - Downstairs) January 16, 2009. This song, "Thank You All For Coming", was something that I wanted to open with for all of my friends and family that made it out to my CD Release Concert for the release of my "Mediocre Joker" CD. That CD is available on CD Baby and you can find out more from my MySpace link above. You can read more about me below. Thanks! About Brian Aglira A Philly local, Brian is a graduate of Conestoga High School and West Chester University (class of 2007). He has been playing and writing music since the age of 12 and has been performing live over the past several years as a member of the Matt Santry Band as well as a solo performer at venues throughout the greater Philadelphia area. He is an accomplished vocalist and musician, with expertise in keyboards and guitar. His guitar playing has been described by fellow musicians as Albert Lee meets Joe Satriani. Influenced by such songwriters as Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen and players like Joe Satriani, Tommy Emmanuel, and Brad Paisley, Brians music delivers a powerful blend of upbeat, personal lyrics with creative instrumentation that will grab listeners and linger for a long time. Its a little bit pop and a little bit country but with uniqueness that is 100% Brian. "A musician first and foremost, the only things i take really seriously in life are music, family, and, friends. I enjoy playing music for people who dig hearing it as much as I like playing it. Sadly I am finding this is a dying breed. Ive been inspired by some of the greatest musicians and have created music that I feel is true to that legacy. Like them I hope someday to inspire other performing artists to be true to their heart and excel at their craft. I want to be counted strongly among todays musicians that lead the way back to the future by combining passionate lyrics with energetic music that people will want to listen to over and over again." "I love to be around good people and I'm happy that I have found a few in this life. If you don't do what you love in life, try to find a way to love what you do and if that's not working, for Christ sake move on. Life shouldn't be that complicated. Practice kindness, humility, and compassion and enjoy the ride" Hope you enjoy the tunes on my page.
